Clinical Trials of America has been awarded a study to evaluate the general effect of of a novel study drug in obesity treatment. The study will measure the effect of the study drug on body weight in non-diabetic obese subjects or overweight subjects with comorbidities. The study is a randomised, double-blind, placebo controlled, parallel groeup, multi-centre, multinational trial with stratification of subject to either one or three years of treatment based on pre-diabetes status at randomisation
