Richard A. Beyerlein, MD, CPI, FACOG
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER & CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER

Richard Beyerlein, MD, has a deep-rooted desire to continually improve as a physician and as an activist in the search for good medicine. This desire led him to create Clinical Trials of America, where patient advocacy and medical advancements go hand in hand. “As a company and as individuals, the Clinical Trials of America team is motivated to go above and beyond, to always put patients’ needs above all else and to contribute to the advancement of medicine with the strongest sense of ethics and integrity,” Beyerlein explains.

Dr. Beyerlein, an experienced clinical researcher who has acted as investigator or principal investigator for more than 100 trials to date, is also a board-certified specialist in obstetrics and gynecology at Pacific Women’s Center in Eugene, Oregon. He is also the medical director and a certified principal investigator for Clinical Trials of America. As a member of the Association for Clinical Research Professionals and a Clinical Assistant Professor at Oregon Health & Science University, Dr. Beyerlein actively participates in committees and organizations supporting and developing the evidence-based medical industry.

Dr. Beyerlein earned his medical degree and graduated with honors from Oregon Health & Science University. He went on to complete an obstetrics and gynecology residency and internship at the University of California at Irvine Medical Center in Orange, California. He has been honored with an America’s Top Obstetricians and Gynecologists award and a Consumer Research Council of America award, and his work has been published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Journal of Obstetrics.

Pamela K. Pannier, CCRC
DIRECTOR – CLINICAL OPERATIONS

As clinical operations director of Clinical Trials of America, Pannier leads business development, including sourcing, managing and implementing new business opportunities in Eugene and the surrounding areas.

Pannier has conducted more than 150 clinical studies in various therapeutic areas and has 18 years of clinical research and business development experience. She also owned and acted as president of a clinical research business from 2005 to 2008. Pannier assisted in the research and development of a pulmonary rehabilitation program at Madigan Army Medical Center in Fort Sam Houston, Texas, as a sergeant with the United States Army. Pannier later entered the medical research industry, which took her from Eugene, Oregon, to West Jordan, Utah, and back again to coordinate and manage clinical trials.
